Lead Precision Industry (LPI) was founded in Tu-Cheng Industrial Dist. in 1977 and was initially a professional manufacturer of leads for diodes. LPI introduced wire-redrawing technology in 1983, and has started offering wire products and plating services since then. Through the unified efforts of all its employees in the past 20-some years, LPI has been dedicated to new product development. It developed leads and MELF (Metal Electrode Leadless Face) buttons used for surface mount (SMD) and glass-sleeve diodes in 1997, and started volume production of copper slugs for LEDs and developed leads for autorectifiers in 1999.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

 
  LPI has three plants by different products in Tu-Cheng Industrial Dist., and has  manufacturing facilities in Tianjin and Shanghai respectively, producing leads and  MELF buttons to provide better service to its local customers.
 

 
 

 

 
  LPI emphasizes its business philosophy of “sustainable development, mutual respect, sincere service, and customer satisfaction”, and realizes that the company company will survive in the keen competitive international market only if it is continuously dedicated to development of new product, active innovation, and nurturing technical professionals. In view of this, LPI started in 2004 in research and development of selective plating with an attempt to provide total plating solution, which includes wire-plating, barrel-plating, spot-plating, and reel-to-reel plating to its customers. LPI has also made good use of its business resources and taken advantage of mutually to transform and expand its business to insert molding for high-luminance LEDs, and has picked up orders.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

 
  LPI has been paying attention to quality and, environmental health and safety. It is an ISO 9001(2015) certified company. Its products are marketed internationally with major customers in semiconducor and 3C industries.
